We are pleased to announce that after a year of development and testing, version 5.0 of the Industrial-Grade AI Training Platform is officially released. This version includes significant upgrades in multiple aspects, aiming to provide a more powerful AI development environment for universities, enterprises, and research institutions.
The most notable improvement in version 5.0 is the support for multimodal large model training. The platform can now simultaneously process text, image, audio, and video data, providing comprehensive support for cross-modal learning research. Our tests show that under equivalent hardware conditions, the platform's large model training efficiency has improved by 40% compared to the previous version.
The GPU cluster management system has been completely refactored, with the addition of an intelligent resource scheduling algorithm. The system can now automatically allocate computing resources based on task priority, resource requirements, and user level, significantly improving cluster utilization. In stress tests, overall cluster utilization increased from 65% to 85%.
"The release of AI Training Platform 5.0 marks another important step forward in the field of educational technology. This platform is not only technologically advanced but, more importantly, it genuinely addresses the pain points in AI teaching and research." — Zhang Wei, Director of the Technology R&D Center
The new version introduces a completely new web interface with a more intuitive operation flow. We have specifically optimized project management functions, supporting multi-level directory structures and version control to facilitate team collaborative development. The platform also adds over 100 pre-built AI project templates, covering mainstream areas such as computer vision, natural language processing, and recommendation systems.
The automated model tuning feature is another highlight of this version. Users only need to specify performance metrics and resource constraints, and the platform can automatically search for the optimal hyperparameter combination. In our internal tests, this feature improved model performance by an average of 15-20%.
Version 5.0 integrates a complete MLOps toolchain, including:
This toolchain greatly simplifies the transition from experimentation to production, enabling academic research results to be transformed into practical applications more quickly.
During the beta testing phase, several renowned projects utilized the 5.0 platform:
To date, our training platform has been adopted by over 30 universities and more than 50 enterprises nationwide, supporting the development and training of over 10,000 AI projects. The release of version 5.0 will further solidify our leading position in the AI education field.
